Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

Prachuap Khiri Khan is another super popular province in Thailand, and for good reason. It is one of the first places many Thai travelers think of when they want a getaway near Bangkok. The province has so many places to visit, with a lot of variety, and it is easy to travel to without needing too much time. You can do it as an overnight trip or even a day trip.

When talking about Prachuap Khiri Khan, I believe many people immediately picture the sea. So today, I want to take everyone around Prachuap in a way that feels much more complete, from beaches and mountains to caves, cafés, reservoirs, and many other places worth visiting. This trip is packed in the best way.

Pran Buri District
Pran Buri Forest Park

In recent years, more and more people have started to get to know Pran Buri, especially because it is not far from Hua Hin at all. You can drive from Hua Hin and reach it quickly. Since I had never properly explored Pran Buri before, I was especially determined to visit this time. Pran Buri Forest Park is one of the places I had seen in photos and immediately wanted to visit.

Pran Buri Forest Park is a conservation-based attraction initiated under the royal project of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The nature here is very abundant. Inside the forest park, there is also a quiet and private beach area, but the real highlight is the mangrove ecosystem nature trail. The walking route is not very long, around 1 kilometer, so you can walk it comfortably and finish it in no time.

The ecosystem study trail is very shady. The trees grow tall and spread their branches beautifully, while the path is a sturdy elevated wooden bridge that is wide enough to walk comfortably. It lets you enjoy the nature up close, and there are educational signs along the way too. Anyone interested in ecosystems and mangrove forests will probably really enjoy this place.

Besides the walking trail, there is also a boat activity to study the mangrove ecosystem. The route takes around 1 hour and costs about 500 THB (around US$14), with up to 8 people per trip. I did not take the boat this time, though, because just walking through the nature trail already felt satisfying enough.

As you keep walking along the trail, you eventually reach the highlight area known as Thung Prong Thong. Here, the whole landscape is filled with yellow-green mangrove trees. You can also climb the viewing tower to see a 360-degree view over the field. The light here is beautiful, and it is one of the most photogenic spots in the park.

Now let’s enter the “actual knowledge exists” section. While walking here, I kept wondering why this area had no tall trees and why everything seemed to be the same height. Then I learned that this type of prong forest grows on higher mangrove land, where the soil is less fertile than lower mangrove areas. Many young prong trees grow densely here, so as they grow, their height stays fairly similar. The leaves also appear yellow-green because the plants receive fewer nutrients, which is why they do not look as bright green as the trees near the beginning of the trail.

After finishing the mangrove ecosystem trail, I recommend continuing to walk around the beach inside Pran Buri Forest Park. The atmosphere here is lovely, with sea breeze blowing all the time. If you have plenty of time and are not rushing anywhere, you can bring a chair, sit down, and enjoy the sea view. Super chill.

Triple Palm Trees, Pak Nam Pran

When talking about Pran Buri, almost everyone knows the Triple Palm Trees on the beach road of Pak Nam Pran. This is the check-in spot of Pran Buri, the kind of place where if you come to Pran and do not take a photo with these three palm trees, it feels like you have not really arrived. Since we were already here, of course we had to stop by for a quick photo.

This area is quite lively, especially in the evening when more people come out. There are cycling lanes and seaside walking paths where you can stroll, exercise, and enjoy the view at the same time. But the most popular activity people like to do here is surf skating. Not only is there space for skating, but the area also photographs really beautifully. Definitely worth coming.

Thao Kosa Forest Park / Khao Kalok

Thao Kosa Forest Park, better known as Khao Kalok, gets its name from the shape of the mountain. If you look at it from the sea, the mountain resembles a giant animal skull, with a hollow opening in the middle like an eye socket. People say this mountain has many small caves scattered throughout, reportedly around 30 caves, and it also has some very beautiful viewpoints.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

The area around Khao Kalok is a very wide and beautiful sandy beach. When the tide is low, you can walk along the mountain edge to the right side as well. It is a nice place to stroll and take photos in a relaxed way. During very low tide, there is also a path that lets you climb up Khao Kalok itself. Sadly, when I visited, the tide was very high, so I had to give up and save it for next time.

Another spot I found interesting, almost by accident, felt like a hidden gem: Kosa Cave. When you climb up, you can look through the rock opening out toward the sea, and the view is incredibly beautiful. Just a small warning: the path up is quite steep, so you need to be careful. But once you reach the top, the view is so good that the tiredness disappears. With the cool wind blowing through, everything feels genuinely perfect.

On this trip, I also found another peaceful and very private hidden spot tucked behind Khao Kalok. Earlier, I showed you the beach in front of Khao Kalok, right? If you keep driving a little farther, you will find the beach behind the mountain, and the mood there is completely different. This side feels much quieter and more private. You can drive in, park, enjoy the sea breeze, and take in the view in a very relaxing way.

Demi Beach Concept

Pran Buri is another district with many stylish cafés, and the one I want to recommend is Demi Beach Concept, a beachfront café with a very chic atmosphere, beautiful views, plenty of photo corners, and genuinely delicious food and drinks. The cool thing is that this place is also a stay.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

The café itself is a white two-story container-style building decorated with wooden furniture inside, giving the place a simple and very chill atmosphere. If you walk down toward the sea, there are many seating corners, from large tables for bigger groups to beach chairs, bar tables, and swings. Every spot photographs beautifully, with such a good mood.

With weather this hot and sunlight this strong, of course we needed something cold and refreshing. The signature drink I ordered was Pranburi, 158 THB (around US$4.50), an espresso shot poured over honey mixed with lime, giving it a sweet and tangy flavor. It is extremely refreshing. If you like coffee, I recommend this one. It is seriously good.

For non-coffee drinkers, this café is also quite strong in cocoa. They have three types of cocoa, each with a different level of intensity. More importantly, their cocoa is imported from several countries. The one I ordered was Nigeria Ice Cacao, 98 THB (around US$2.80), made with Nigerian cocoa at the most intense level. Cocoa lovers will definitely enjoy it because the flavor is deeply satisfying.

If you love matcha, I also think this café does it well. The Matcha Latte, 98 THB (around US$2.80), mixes rich green tea with cold fresh milk, creating a smooth flavor with a lovely matcha aroma. I liked it. And since drinks need dessert to go with them, we also had the Strawberry Shortcake, 158 THB (around US$4.50). It has soft sponge cake with an incredibly light cream in the middle, topped with cream and lots of fresh fruit. The sweetness is just right, and the cream is so light it almost feels like eating a cloud. Delicious, easy to keep eating, and very satisfying.

Besides drinks and delicious cakes, they also serve food. Their meals come as homemade-style Japanese sets, served with side dishes like pickles, miso soup, and fresh salad.

The first dish I ordered was the Braised Pork Curry Rice Set, 218 THB (around US$6). It came with hot Japanese rice, braised pork curry, and a runny fried egg on top. The curry sauce had a slightly spicy flavor, but once mixed with the rice, it tasted just right. The braised pork was not fully melt-in-your-mouth tender yet, but the flavor was good. The next dish was still curry rice, this time the Fried Shrimp Curry Rice Set, 228 THB (around US$6.40). The components were similar, but the braised pork was replaced with crispy fried shrimp. The shrimp was fried nicely, not oily, and had a firm, bouncy texture. Together with the curry sauce, it worked beautifully.

For anyone who does not like curry, they also have several rice bowl options. I tried the Karaage Chicken Rice Set, 218 THB (around US$6), Japanese rice topped with crispy karaage chicken and soft egg cooked with onion. This was another dish that tasted really good to me. Also, every set comes in generous portions and is very filling.

After eating, you can continue walking around and taking photos. They also have a flag-style photo spot right by the beach, and it photographs beautifully. The beachfront atmosphere here is honestly so good, with lots of seating where you can chill and take photos in a very easygoing way.

Sam Roi Yot District
Bueng Bua Nature Education Center, Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park

Bueng Bua Nature Education Center, Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is another place in Prachuap Khiri Khan that I really like and want everyone to visit. The nature here is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and walking around is very enjoyable.

Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is located in the southernmost part of Thailand’s central region, covering two districts: Sam Roi Yot and Kui Buri. It is Thailand’s fourth national park and also the country’s first marine national park.

Bueng Bua Nature Education Center is a place where you can get very close to nature. The lotus pond here is huge, covering at least 1,000 rai, and the wooden bridge lets you walk far out into the wetland. Along both sides, you can see lotus plants, aquatic plants, and many species of birds. When I visited, they had already harvested the lotus flowers, but there were still some left to see.

Even though I did not get to see the lotus pond completely filled with blooming flowers as I had imagined, I still felt that this was a beautiful and very chill place. It is perfect for walking, enjoying the breeze, watching the sunset, or, if you do not want to walk, taking a boat into the pond to enjoy the scenery.

There are many legends behind the name Khao Sam Roi Yot, so let me share one. It is said that this area was once a sea dotted with many islands. One day, a Chinese junk ship sailed through and was hit by a violent storm. The ship tried to seek shelter in a channel on the west side of the island, but because the crew was unfamiliar with the area, the boat crashed into rocks and sank. Many people died, but about 300 survivors made it to the island. In the past, people called this place “Khao Sam Roi Rot,” meaning “the mountain of 300 survivors,” which later shifted in pronunciation to “Khao Sam Roi Yot,” the name used today.

Some people also say that this area used to have many sam roi yot plants, while others say the name came from the fact that the area has over 300 mountain peaks. It depends on what you choose to believe, but whichever story you go with, this place is incredibly beautiful and worth visiting.

One thing I almost forgot to mention: entering the national park requires a fee. For Thai visitors, adults pay 40 THB (around US$1.10) and children pay 20 THB (around US$0.60). This does not include the boat fee. If you want to take a boat, you can contact the park staff directly.

Phraya Nakhon Cave

Phraya Nakhon Cave is another very popular attraction. If you want to see the grand highlight inside Phraya Nakhon Cave around 11 AM, I recommend allowing enough time for the walk into the cave. Getting there is not easy at all. You have to walk along a nature trail of around 430 meters, and the route is rough, high, and very steep. From my visit, the round trip took about 3 hours, including a few photo stops along the way. If you are ready for the adventure, let’s go.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

To get to Phraya Nakhon Cave, you first go to Wat Bang Pu. There are two ways to reach the cave: walking or taking a long-tail boat from Bang Pu Beach to Laem Sala Beach. The boat saves time and takes around 10 minutes. But on the day I went, the waves were very strong, so we could not take the boat and had to walk in ourselves.

Even though the route was honestly quite brutal for me, walking in like this gave me more time to soak in the surrounding nature. I got to stop and look at trees here, watch birds there, and enjoy some seriously beautiful views along the way. In the end, it felt completely worth the walk.

Walking while enjoying the view was actually quite pleasant, but you still need to be very careful. Once we finished the first hill, we came down to Laem Sala Beach, a wide beach with lots of coconut trees, cool wind, shade, and a visitor service area. If you are hungry or need to use the restroom before continuing to Phraya Nakhon Cave, this is a good place to take a break.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

Once we caught our breath, we continued up another mountain. This second hill is seriously steep and high. If you are traveling with older adults or anyone with health concerns, please check your condition first. The path becomes even more challenging and requires a lot of care. About halfway up, there is a resting spot where you can also enjoy the view. After resting enough, I decided to push straight on to the cave.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin
Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

Before reaching the main cave area, we had to walk down a little. This section has already been prepared quite well, and I have to say, it is beautiful. There are stunning natural stalagmites and stalactites here. Several things really made me go “wow,” including the so-called “dry waterfall,” a limestone formation known as a travertine dam. In the past, water used to flow through this cave, leaving limestone sediments behind. Over time, the sediments built up into layered ridges. Today, there is no longer flowing water, but the limestone remains look from a distance like water cascading down. It is seriously cool.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

And that is not all. As you walk deeper, you will find small clusters of trees growing under the skylight inside the cave, like a lush oasis in the middle of the limestone chamber. If you look up, you will also see a natural bridge formed when the cave roof eroded and collapsed, leaving some parts still connected like a bridge. That collapse is what created the skylight, allowing these beautiful plants to grow inside the cave.

And finally, we arrived at Phraya Nakhon Cave. We made it just in time to see sunlight streaming in and hitting the Khuha Kharuehat Pavilion. It was unbelievably beautiful. All the tiredness from the hike disappeared immediately. My heart felt so full.

Phraya Nakhon Cave was discovered more than 200 years ago by a ruler of Nakhon Si Thammarat. It is a huge limestone cave with 3 chambers, and 2 of them have openings at the top, allowing trees to grow inside. Around 1890, King Rama V wished to visit the area, so Khuha Kharuehat Pavilion was built. This pavilion later became the symbol of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and remains so today.

Inside Phraya Nakhon Cave, the stalagmites and stalactites are very beautiful. The ceiling has openings that let sunlight enter the cave. If you want to see this exact scene, I recommend visiting between 10:30 and 11:30 AM, when the sun is positioned right above the opening and you can clearly see the beam of light. It is absolutely worth it.

Kui Buri District
Sai Cave

After visiting Phraya Nakhon Cave, I also want everyone to visit Sai Cave, because this cave is said to have incredibly grand stalagmites and stalactites, and it feels very natural. Sai Cave is also located within Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. The walk to the cave is not far, only 280 meters, but the path is steep and genuinely difficult.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

Tip: If you are planning to visit caves, wear sneakers so you can walk more comfortably and safely. You should also bring a flashlight. If you did not bring one, there is a flashlight rental point before going up. I recommend renting one, because inside the cave is very dark, and phone light is really not enough. Better safe than sorry.

Before taking everyone inside the cave, let me share the legend of Sai Cave. It is said that long ago, a man named Ta Eap was the first villager to settle in Khung Tanot village. One day, he went into the forest to find food and heard the sound of traditional Thai music. He followed the sound until he reached the cave entrance, but by then the sound had disappeared. He went inside to see what was there and found stalagmites and stalactites shaped like a banyan tree. Coincidentally, there was also a banyan tree growing at the cave entrance. Locals therefore believed that these two things were the origin of the name Sai Cave.

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

Today, the banyan tree at the cave entrance has already died, so when I arrived, I walked straight in. I have to say, the cave is extremely dark and very natural. There is no new walkway or lighting installed for tourists, only stairs that help you walk down. The deeper you go, the darker it gets. After walking only a short distance, you will see many huge stalagmites and stalactites. Each one is incredibly grand, and you can tell this cave has existed for a very, very long time. If you look closely, you can see the layered sediment patterns formed over time.

This section has stalagmites and stalactites on both sides, almost like a natural archway. It photographs beautifully, but you need to be very careful because it is quite slippery and high. After taking photos, follow the arrows down to the lower section. Once you reach the bottom and look back up at the cave ceiling, the scale is massive. When light comes through the cave roof, it looks especially stunning. Honestly, I had never seen stalagmites and stalactites this impressive before.

Khao Daeng Canal Boat Trip

We are still exploring the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park area, but now let’s take a relaxing scenic boat trip. We headed straight to Wat Khao Daeng, which is the boarding point for the Khao Daeng Canal Boat Trip.

Khao Daeng Canal connects to the Gulf of Thailand and is an important canal for local people in Khao Daeng Subdistrict. It helps sustain the surrounding community and is also a very rich natural attraction. The scenery is so beautiful that it has even been called the “Guilin of Prachuap Khiri Khan.”

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand: A Local Guide to Beaches, Caves & Nature beyond Hua Hin

The boat ride takes around 1 hour. The route takes you past mangrove areas, mountain views, including Khao Daeng, the mountain that gives the canal its name, local riverside life, and finally the beautiful mouth of the Gulf of Thailand. One boat seats around 6 to 8 people and costs 500 THB (around US$14) per boat per trip.

The route begins by cruising along the mangrove forest. Along the way, you can see how abundant the nature is, with many kinds of birds. Overall, the atmosphere is very relaxed. The green mangrove forest looks similar to what we saw at Pran Buri Forest Park, but from a completely different perspective. The boat slowly passes mountain after mountain. When I went, there were no other tourists, so I asked the boat driver to stop for photos whenever I wanted. It felt very private. Along the way, the boat driver also pointed out a mountain shaped like a crocodile climbing uphill. The imagination level was truly next-level.

After enjoying the natural scenery, we went to see local fishing life. As the boat looped back, we passed rows of riverside homes, then continued toward the mouth of the Gulf of Thailand. This part was incredibly beautiful. The blue sea opened wide, birds gathered in the water, and everything just felt right. It was such an enjoyable boat trip. I loved it.

Thap Sakae District
Klong Chong Lom Reservoir

Now let’s move districts to Thap Sakae. This district is a bit farther from the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park area, about 80 kilometers away. Our first destination here is Klong Chong Lom Reservoir, another attraction that is still not very well-known among travelers.

Klong Chong Lom Reservoir, also known by locals as Khao Lan Dam, is named after the local subdistrict. The reservoir stores water to help local communities during the dry season, when water for daily use and consumption can be scarce. It also helps reduce flooding during the rainy season. It is a very useful place for people in the area, and at the same time, it is a very beautiful nature attraction. The atmosphere is wonderful, surrounded by mountains as far as the eye can see. If you want to escape the chaos and breathe in fresh air deeply, do not miss this place.

At the top of Klong Chong Lom Reservoir, there is a long road where you can see layered mountain views reflected on the water surface. The scene is beautiful, and almost every angle photographs well. The photos even give a feeling of being somewhere abroad. Overall, the atmosphere here is very calm and peaceful because there are hardly any crowds. On the day I visited, there were no tourists at all. Only once in a while would a local ride by on a motorcycle. It felt so good, like a real break.

If you want a place to sit and enjoy the view, I recommend driving down from the dam crest. There is a waterside area with such a good atmosphere where you can park right next to the reservoir. If you bring picnic gear, this spot is perfect for setting up a chair, sitting back, and listening to nature. The mood is lovely. Very happy.

Mining Pine Forest

Another place in Thap Sakae that I really like and want everyone to visit is Mining Pine Forest, located in a small village called Mueang Rae, where not many people live. The pine forest here is so beautiful it almost looks like a painting. As you drive along the road cutting through the forest, both sides are lined with rows of tall pine trees swaying in the wind. It feels almost like driving up north. I could hardly believe this place was in Prachuap. I was so impressed.

Since Mining Pine Forest is located inside a village area, the road is not very long, around 1 kilometer. It is still a road locals use for getting around, but when I visited, there were not many people passing through. You can find a suitable parking spot and walk around taking photos comfortably. Standing in the middle of the road, you feel tiny because the tall pine trees line both sides. The air here is cool, shady, and very pleasant. The photos turn out beautifully too.

I would call Mining Pine Forest one of the unseen spots of Prachuap Khiri Khan. It is seriously impressive. If you like nature attractions, want fresh air, and want photos with an almost overseas mood, I recommend this place. It already looks beautiful in photos, but the real place is even better.

Hua Hin District
Hua Hin Beach

Of course, if we are traveling in Hua Hin, we cannot leave Hua Hin Beach off the list. After all, Hua Hin itself is known for its beach and sea, so the first place we are going is, naturally, Hua Hin Beach.

If you enjoy the peaceful side of Hua Hin Beach, I recommend coming in the morning. It is the best time to walk along the beach. If you manage to wake up before sunrise, the Hua Hin coastline is one of the most beautiful places in Hua Hin to watch the sun rise. And if you want to make merit, you can wait for monks walking their alms round along Hua Hin Beach as well.

If you come around 8 AM, that is also a lovely time. The tide is usually low enough to reveal a wide stretch of beach. If you want to jog, you can run along the sand. Or if you are more of a slow traveler, walking barefoot on the quiet morning sand while the waves are calm is such a simple and relaxing way to start the day. I love it.

Hua Hin Beach also has one activity that almost everyone should try at least once: horseback riding along the beach. You can walk around and choose a horse directly. There are people leading horses along the beach, and some riding back and forth. If you see a horse you like but the price is not quite right, I suggest not rushing. Walk a bit more first because there are many horses along the beach, and you can choose until you find one you like. Prices I saw were charged by time, starting from 20 minutes for 400 THB (around US$11) up to 1 hour for 1,000 THB (around US$28).

If you do not know how to ride, you can simply sit on the horse for photos too. The photo fee is around 100 THB (around US$3). The iconic part is that just sitting on a horse by the sea immediately screams Hua Hin the moment you post it on social media.

Memory House Cafe HuaHin

Memory House Cafe HuaHin is one of the Hua Hin cafés I love the most right now. It breaks away from the usual Hua Hin café style with a barn-like setting and cute grass fields beside Khao Tao Reservoir. I think many people will love it because there are countless photo corners and adorable props that make your social media photos look as cute as if you were somewhere in Korea.

They also have plenty of coffee and cake options. This time, I ordered the Iced Signature Coffee, 109 THB (around US$3), which comes with a generous amount of pearls. When I visited, I was on a diet, and luckily, they had an option to skip the syrup and change the pearls to coconut jelly. I really liked that, and the drink still tasted good.

Another coffee I tried was the Iced Hazelnut Macchiato, 99 THB (around US$2.80). This one was also good, with just the right hazelnut aroma. But my favorite was the Macadamia Cheesecake, 119 THB (around US$3.30). The cheese layer had a slightly salty flavor and a dense texture that matched perfectly with the crumble base. The sweetness was just right, and this cake actually won over the two coffees for me. So good.

In short, Memory House Cafe HuaHin is another very good café that I want you to try for coffee and cake. The atmosphere is beautiful, with grass fields and Khao Tao Reservoir views that blend together so nicely. If you want to take pretty photos, I recommend coming after 4 PM when the light is softer. Photos turn out really lovely then.

Hua Hin Fishing Pier

If you do not know where to go in the evening and want somewhere to stroll while enjoying the Hua Hin view, I recommend walking around Hua Hin Fishing Pier, especially in the early evening when the sun is about to set. The Hua Hin sea and evening sky are beautiful, and the atmosphere around the pier is lovely. Fishing boats are docked nearby, people walk around, and locals often come to fish. If you like this kind of easygoing vibe, this is another place I quite like.

If you want to experience Hua Hin Fishing Pier with a night market mood, there is a weekend night market around the pier on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. I have heard that it is quite nice. If you want to try it, free up a weekend and come walk around.

Hua Hin Street Art (Samo Riang–Phunsuk Community)

I think many people may not know that Hua Hin has cute street art hidden inside a local community. Most of these street art spots are not far away at all. They are almost right in the heart of Hua Hin, in the Samo Riang–Phunsuk Community, around Hua Hin Soi 57. The street art adds color and charm to the neighborhood, and the local people in the community are also very kind and lovely.

Matapita x The Hen Hua Hin

When talking about tea and cake shops that people say are delicious in Hua Hin, the famous Matapita, which has been part of Hua Hin for years, naturally comes to mind. If you like eating in a stylish shop, you can visit the original branch. But this time, I went to have tea and cake at the collaboration between Matapita and The Hen Hua Hin, which became Matapita x The Hen Hua Hin, a beachfront tea and cake spot with a very relaxed Hua Hin atmosphere.

Matapita’s cakes mainly focus on cheesecake as the base, then they create fusion-style flavors from there. They have many cheesecake styles, from soft and light cheese textures to denser cheesecakes, transformed into many different flavors. This time, I ordered three. First was the Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake, 200 THB (around US$5.60), which had a soft, smooth cheesecake texture and a generous amount of fresh blueberries on top. This one was good.

Next was the Sweet Potato Macadamia Cheesecake, 220 THB (around US$6.20). The cake texture was on the heavier side, but it was very delicious and another one I really liked. The last cake was the Chocolate Cheesecake, 220 THB (around US$6.20), which I also enjoyed because the chocolate was not too sweet and had just the right level of intensity. This one comes with passionfruit seeds as a topping, but personally, I preferred it without pouring too much on top.

As for tea, that is another thing you should order. I tried the Passionfruit Iced Tea, 110 THB (around US$3), and it was really good and refreshing, with a clear passionfruit aroma. The other drink was the Rose Lychee Iced Tea, 110 THB (around US$3). Personally, I thought the lychee scent and flavor were a bit too light, so this one felt just okay to me. If the aroma and flavor were slightly stronger, it would be much better.

In short, Matapita x The Hen Hua Hin is another place I recommend. Their cakes are genuinely delicious. Even though the cake prices are a bit high, the flavor is good, and they are generous with fruit and toppings. Plus, the atmosphere is lovely and definitely photogenic. Loved it.

I told you already that Prachuap Khiri Khan has so many places to visit. It is not only about the sea. The province also has forests and abundant nature that I really want everyone to experience for themselves. Personally, I think this is another province that is perfect for a relaxing trip because it offers so many travel styles. Whether you are into cafés, nature, hiking, or slow beach walks, Prachuap has it all in one province. After talking this much, you have to come.
